My Backyard Garden: How I Grow Plants at Home

 Good morning blooms :)

Welcome to my little backyard where I will share with you vegetables, flowers, trees and etc. also my own tips on how I plant my favorite vegetables and fruits.

As of now I have only aloe vera, mulberry, fashion fruit and moringa left since I work far from our place and have no time to visit the garden but I'm planning to start again with much willingness and patience. Sharing what I have grown before...

now I'm planning and starting to plant more vegetables and fruits in our garden hopefully my garden will thrive and will grow diverse fruit trees, flowers, vegetables in a more natural way. :) can't wait to see swaying trees, colorful flowers, singing birds and bees ...

I'm learning to do composting also as we have a lot of scraps at home, I usually use banana skin, dried leaves, papers, wood etc.  It is so much fun but bear with me as I'm still learning also. :) You can leave a comment on this, I'm very much willing to learn and apply it in my garden.

Me in Nature: Zone 0

Nature for me means life, without nature we can't survive.  Nature for me means life, but the question is, who am I in nature? Such an interesting question that helps me get back to my Zone O.  Back when I was in high school, I didn't have any interest in nature, but it dramatically changed when I got to volunteer with different organizations that empower youth and at the same time take good care of the environment. This is the first step for me to go back to Zone 0. Zone 0. For me it was basically reflecting and knowing yourself. For myself, I tried to have activities to get to know myself more; here are the activities that I have done for myself.  1. "Waking up early" Since I'm a morning person, it was not difficult for me to wake up early. I drink water and sit in a corner, letting myself enjoy the calmness and the peacefulness in our place. After 5 minutes of doing nothing, I grabbed my Bible and notebook and meditated on God's word. I scribble and write m...

LOST IN THE WOODS

LOST IN THE WOODS  I was wandering around looking for glamour and beauty. Beauty is subjective and can be found in a lot of things; I tried to weigh what I meant by it. What beauty was I talking about that leads me to wander and get lost in the woods? I was lost in the beauty. I thought I was in another portal in life. It was sane, and I heard a voice saying, "Let it be." Looking around, I saw a tree staring at me happily, but I found something unusual: the tree smiled, and at the same time, tears dropped from its body. I was shocked with what I saw.  I was about to ask, but then the tree turned away already. I was taken aback, and I hesitated to reach the tree again. Looking down, I saw dried leaves with writings on them. I knelt down and picked the leaves and read them. The writings on it say, "Let it be. Let us be us. Please take away greed; better choose kindness. I was helplessly crying. Trees are suffering. Nature is suffering. Is it really what humanity means? Are...
